My home internet costs more than I can manage on unemployment. I am in Boise, in case local advice matters. Employers call and email constantly. What did you switch to?

Libraries lend Wi-Fi hotspots in some towns. Mine lent one for three weeks.

Ask your internet provider about their low-income plan. They rarely advertise it.
