Affordable home internet for job applications - any advice?

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I am in Toledo, in case local advice matters. Some applications need a computer.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep the number you use for job applications, even if you change plans. Employers will call it.
