Affordable home internet for job applications - 7 months and counting

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Employers call and email constantly. What else should I consider?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
