Affordable home internet for job applications - 10 months and counting

My home internet costs more than I can manage on unemployment. Thank you in advance. Some applications need a computer. What else should I consider?

I switched to a low-cost plan through my carrier and cut my bill by almost half.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
