Affordable childcare options in San Diego (update)

Avery Winters · 2026-09-19T02:25:12.168Z

I have 6 kids and I need to interview and work without a sitter. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. A neighbour offered help but not every day. What worked for you?

Our county's childcare assistance took about 12 weeks to approve, but it covered most of the cost.
