Affordable childcare options in Raleigh (update)

I have 11 kids and I need to interview and work without a sitter. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I looked into subsidies but the forms are long. What worked for you?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Libraries and community centres run free activities that gave me a couple of hours.
