Affordable childcare options in Memphis - any advice?

My hours will change when I find a job and childcare is my biggest worry. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am willing to trade favours. What worked for you?

Our county's childcare assistance took about 3 weeks to approve, but it covered most of the cost.
