Affordable childcare options in Chicago - what worked for you?

Jordan Okafor · 2026-06-25T07:48:59.655Z

My hours will change when I find a job and childcare is my biggest worry. I am in Chicago, in case local advice matters. I looked into subsidies but the forms are long. Is there an emergency option?
