Worth paying for a certificate? - what worked for you?

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a production planner. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am unsure whether employers value it. Did a certificate help you get hired?

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
