Worth paying for a certificate? - what worked for you?

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a nurse's aide. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I am unsure whether employers value it. Which ones are overrated?

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
