Worth paying for a certificate? (update)

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a data-entry clerk. I would like to use funding if possible.

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
