Worth paying for a certificate? (update)

Avery Rasmussen · 2026-07-16T08:25:53.961Z

A local college offers a course that costs $1200. I am in Jacksonville, in case local advice matters. I am unsure whether employers value it. Is there free funding?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
