Worth paying for a certificate? (update)

Gemma Novak · 2026-07-27T08:00:32.611Z

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a retail manager. There are 16 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I am unsure whether employers value it. Is there free funding?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
