Worth paying for a certificate?, teaching assistant here

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a teaching assistant. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I am unsure whether employers value it.

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
