Worth paying for a certificate?

A local college offers a course that costs $550. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I can study evenings. Is there free funding?

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
