Worth paying for a certificate? - any advice?

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a copywriter. I can study evenings. Did a certificate help you get hired?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
