Worth paying for a certificate? after 7 years as a paralegal

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a paralegal. I worked as a paralegal before this. I can study evenings. Is there free funding?

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
