Worth paying for a certificate? after 7 years as a copywriter

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a copywriter. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am unsure whether employers value it. Which ones are overrated?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
