Worth paying for a certificate? after 6 years as an office manager

A local college offers a course that costs $350. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I am unsure whether employers value it. Is there free funding?

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
