Worth paying for a certificate? after 18 years as a graphic designer

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a graphic designer. I worked as a graphic designer before this. I would like to use funding if possible.

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
