Worth paying for a certificate? after 17 years as a sales associate

I saw that many postings ask for a specific certification. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I would like to use funding if possible. Is there free funding?

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
