Worth paying for a certificate? after 16 years as a web developer

A local college offers a course that costs $950. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I am unsure whether employers value it. Which ones are overrated?

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
