Worth paying for a certificate? after 16 years as a barista

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a barista. I am in Charlotte, in case local advice matters. I would like to use funding if possible. Which ones are overrated?

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
