Worth paying for a certificate? after 15 years as a retail manager

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a retail manager. There are 15 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I would like to use funding if possible. Is there free funding?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
