Worth paying for a certificate? after 14 years as a home health aide

A local college offers a course that costs $400. Any experience at all would help. I can study evenings. Did a certificate help you get hired?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
