Worth paying for a certificate? after 11 years as an office manager

A local college offers a course that costs $1000. Any experience at all would help. I am unsure whether employers value it. Did a certificate help you get hired?

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
