Worth paying for a certificate? after 10 years as an electrician's helper

Gabriel Winters · 2026-06-15T17:47:16.020Z

A local college offers a course that costs $100. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I am unsure whether employers value it. Which ones are overrated?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
