Worth paying for a certificate?

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as an HR coordinator. There are 8 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I can study evenings. Is there free funding?

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
