Worth paying for a certificate? - 6 months and counting

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as an accounts payable clerk. I worked as an accounts payable clerk before this. I would like to use funding if possible. Did a certificate help you get hired?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
