Worth paying for a certificate? - 12 weeks in

A local college offers a course that costs $700. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I am unsure whether employers value it. Did a certificate help you get hired?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
