Worth paying for a certificate? - 11 months and counting

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a bookkeeper. I can study evenings. Did a certificate help you get hired?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
