Who do I ask for a reference after a layoff? after 14 years as an operations analyst

The company closed and I am not sure how to reach former colleagues. I am in Nashville, in case local advice matters. I have one former client who liked my work. Who did you use?

A client reference worked well for me. It shows you deliver outside the company too.

Use a professional network to find a former manager. Many will still write a note.
