Which short course helped you get hired? - what worked for you?

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a recruiter. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I am unsure whether employers value it. Which ones are overrated?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.
