Which short course helped you get hired? (update)

A local college offers a course that costs $250. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I would like to use funding if possible. Which ones are overrated?

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
