Which short course helped you get hired? (update)

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as an accounts payable clerk. It has been weighing on me all week. I am unsure whether employers value it. Is there free funding?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
