Which short course helped you get hired? - first time posting

A local college offers a course that costs $650. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I am unsure whether employers value it. Is there free funding?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
