Which short course helped you get hired? - first time posting

A local college offers a course that costs $500. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I am unsure whether employers value it. Did a certificate help you get hired?

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.
