Which short course helped you get hired?

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a retail manager. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I would like to use funding if possible. Is there free funding?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
