Which short course helped you get hired? - any advice?

A local college offers a course that costs $650. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I would like to use funding if possible. Is there free funding?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.

A hands-on course with a project helped more than a purely online one.
