Which short course helped you get hired? - any advice?

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a warehouse supervisor. I am in Kansas City, in case local advice matters. I am unsure whether employers value it. Did a certificate help you get hired?

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.
