Which short course helped you get hired? - any advice?

A local college offers a course that costs $1000. I am in Wichita, in case local advice matters. I am unsure whether employers value it. Did a certificate help you get hired?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
