Which short course helped you get hired? after 9 years as a web developer

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a web developer. I am in Richmond, in case local advice matters. I would like to use funding if possible. Did a certificate help you get hired?

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.
