Which short course helped you get hired? after 7 years as a marketing coordinator

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a marketing coordinator. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I am unsure whether employers value it. Did a certificate help you get hired?

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.
