Which short course helped you get hired? after 16 years as an insurance claims processor

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as an insurance claims processor. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I am unsure whether employers value it. Is there free funding?

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.
