Which short course helped you get hired? after 15 years as an event coordinator

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as an event coordinator. Any experience at all would help. I am unsure whether employers value it. Which ones are overrated?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
