Which short course helped you get hired? - 9 months and counting

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as an insurance claims processor. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I am unsure whether employers value it. Is there free funding?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
