Weighing a contract offer against waiting - what worked for you?

I got a contract offer for 11 months as a teaching assistant and I am unsure whether to accept. I worked as a teaching assistant before this. I would gain recent experience. What would you do?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
