Weighing a contract offer against waiting (update)

I got a contract offer for 9 months as an event coordinator and I am unsure whether to accept. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The contract could extend. Did a contract become permanent?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
