Weighing a contract offer against waiting (update)

I got a contract offer for 13 months as a project coordinator and I am unsure whether to accept. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I would gain recent experience. Did a contract become permanent?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
