Weighing a contract offer against waiting, logistics coordinator here

I got a contract offer for 13 months as a logistics coordinator and I am unsure whether to accept. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I would gain recent experience. Did a contract become permanent?

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.
